Prior to Linea, Jonathan was at Nova Clean Energy where he led the development of the MISO and SPP markets. At Orsted, Jonathan was Director of Development and led development within SPP, WECC, and MISO markets. He also worked at Innogy (now part of RWE) and Invenergy, where he developed wind and solar assets in PJM, MISO, SERC, TVA, NEISO, WECC, and NYISO. He has extensive green fielding experience, siting over 2.5 GW of renewable assets across the United States.

Jonathan holds his M.A in Energy Politics of Eurasia from the European University at St. Petersburg and his B.A. in Political Science and Russian Language and Literature from The George Washington University.
