The Globemallow Solar Project, a subsidiary of Linea Energy LLC, was acquired from Samsung C&T America, Inc. in Q2 2024. The project lease boundary spans 960 acres and is situated approximately 3.75 miles northeast of Stanley, New Mexico, off State Road 41. The site consists of open, rolling grazing land. It is currently in the permitting phase, with approvals anticipated in Q2 2025.Construction is planned to begin in 2026, with commercial operations anticipated in 2028. The solar facility will feature crystalline-silicon solar modules, identical to those found on residential rooftops, mounted above the ground on steel racking. These modules will convert solar energy to electricity that will be delivered to the PNM transmission system for use in local and regional electric grids.

The Globemallow Project is unique for its approach to long-term sustainability by investing in local landowners throughout the project's duration via annual lease payments and easement agreements. This creates a stable revenue stream that shields against fluctuating commodity prices and helps preserve family properties for future generations. Since Globemallow is a lease agreement, our project will generate income for landowners leasing the property for generations to come.

The Globemallow Solar Project is estimated to generate tens of millions of dollars in property taxes over its 40-year lifespan, directly supporting Santa Fe County's funding of essential services and infrastructure. This contribution will drive economic growth and advance clean energy goals within the community and state. More than 53,000 homes are anticipated to be powered annually.
